Conference for wine tourism and wine route

For the first time, Ministry of economy  and Tikves wine route from across the Balkan and EU will gather to debate how to build a new partnership between Tourism and wine. The programme will explore the immense potential to work together to contribute to inclusive economic growth,. The conference is limited,and expected to receive 100 delegates On this Conference will be invited the Institutions competent for tourism in Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, Albania,Croatia,Montenegro,Italy,France,Portugal,Spain Kosovo,BiH,etc.

Also will be invited representatives of Chambers of Commerce, educational institutions and associations from the area of tourism and wine.

Representatives of the SEA and the Office of ED – Skopje., professionals from tourism and wine association , non-governmental organizations, academic institutions, and private sector stakeholders.

The connection of the different subjects from the area of wine and tourism, primarily of the institutions in the neighboring countries is necessary in order to follow the trends in the tourism – visit to several countries in one touristic package.

The cooperation on every level is necessary if we wish to create competitive touristic products and also to reduce the expenses for their promotion on third markets.

On this Conference we will try to answer the question:

-           What kind of net we need

-           How prepared are the institutions and private sector to invest resources in this net

-           How can be used the European and other funds for development of this net, but also for development of the wine tourism in these states.

On the second day Forum will be held on the same topic with review of the needs for education of the personnel in the wine tourism.

 

 

 

1.1 Place and dates of the conference

The conference will take place at the Bushiresort in Skopje on 24 of April,and CENET on 25 of April. The opening ceremony, closing ceremony and conference programme will take place at this venue`s.

1.2 Opening and Closing ceremonies

The Opening Ceremony of the conference will be held in the morning of the 24th April, 2015. The ceremony will be presided over by Mr.Bekim Neziri, Minister of economy of Macedonia with speeches by representative of UNWTO, Ms.Penelope Denu Director of institute for cultural routes of Council of Europe, Ms.Violeta Jankova CEO of Tikves wine route Foundation.

The welcome gala dinner and culture performance for invited delegates in the evening on 24th April, 2015.

The Closing Ceremony of the conference will be held in the afternoon of the 25th April, 2015. It will be presided over by Ms.Violeta Jankova TWR Foundation and Mr.Trajce Dimitriev Mayor of Demir kapija.

 

1.3 Registration and badge at Conference Center

The area reserved for the Conference will be confined exclusively to participants and accompanying persons wearing an identification badge. Identification badges will be issued at the registration desk.

It is highly recommended to register on the Wednesday  24th of April at 9:30am .

Transportation will be arranged for The detailed schedule of the transfer will be available at the hotel reception desk or hospitality/information desk.

Note: The onsite registration desk at the Conference Hotel Bushiresort will also serve as the information desk during the whole conference. Should delegates require any information on any aspects of the event, the first point of contact is at the registration desk.

 

1.4 Working languages and papers

Materials prepared for the conference will be translated into English. Simultaneous interpretation during the conference will be provided in English.

Most of the presentation papers for the conference will be uploaded on the website of Ministry of economy,and Tikves wine route as soon as they are available.

1.6 Online registration and deadline

Conference is only for invited delegates.

 

1.7 Internet Lounge

. Wi-Fi will be available at the conference venue. The Wi-Fi code will be available at the registration desk.

 

2. TRANSPORTATION

A shuttle bus service between the designated hotels and the conference venue will be provided, as well as for the events scheduled. Details of the departure times and locations of shuttle bus services will be available on reception desk.

 

3. MEDIA OFFICE

The Media center will be set up for the international media during the conference with internet access and office facilities on 24th April of the conference venue at the Bushiresort hotel where the conference will take place.
